January 2005: The beginning of the year came in
like a lamb and went out like a lion. For the first half of the
month, Cape May saw very little snow. By January 19th, winter winds
came swooping down bringing blankets of snow on our beaches.

February: A blustery month but lovers still
found time to steal a kiss or two. The benches and streets which
usually so full of tourists are empty and desolate. Can spring be
far behind? |

March: Brings the promise of spring and an early
Easter. Young brides again ventured outside for their wedding

April: Ahhh. All the things we look forward to in
summer begin to take shape in April. Boats take to the water,
daffodils and tulips begin to bloom. And when the Victorians begin
playing croquet on the lawn of the Physick Estate - can the summer
be far off? |

May: It's May. "The lusty month of May" brings

September: With Labor Day come afternoons that are
still warm and beach-worthy but the lifeguards begin to disappear
and the days start getting shorter. Sunrise and sunsets take on a

landscape. |

October: Pumpkins! Weird beach sightings and
Trick-or-Treaters. Not to mention surfers who came out in droves to
test the hurricane-like waves from Wilma. |

November: The loveliest skies of the year occur in
November. B&B owners are gearing up for the holidays and the weather
is still warm, making walks on the beach inviting and serene. |

December: Snow came early to Cape May this year
but surfers were not daunted by the frigid temperatures and
everyone, both two-legged and four-legged looked forward to a
fabulous Cape May Christmas. |
