Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner in Cape May

Beach Plum Farm – Radishes, leeks, asparagus and fresh lettuces are popping up everywhere as the farm comes to life with the arrival of spring. Where better to usher in Mother’s Day than in this magical setting.  Join us for a Farm-to-Table Family Brunch at Beach Plum Farm. Chef Todd Phillips will be using ingredients harvested right from our farm for his buffet menu. Congress Hall – There’s no better way to treat your mom on her special day than to a delicious Mother’s Day Brunch at Congress Hall. Leave the cooking to our chefs, and join us in the Grand Ballroom for a delightful day devoted to all of the special women in your life. Have an omelet made to order, or choose from our vast display and carving stations. Kids can enjoy a ride on the Congress Hall Express around the beautiful veranda and Grand Lawn. The Rusty Nail – Chef Jimmy Burton pays homage to his roots as he cooks up his mother’s famous fried chicken. Burton’s mother, Dorothy “Dot” Burton, was a Cape May icon famous for her comfort food. Guests can enjoy half of a southern fried chicken (from Beach Plum Farm) on Mother’s Day, with a side of mac and cheese, collard greens and corn bread for $19.95. And to sweeten the deal, ladies receive free sweet tea or a sweet tea cocktail with their meal.

Outside of Cape May

Marie Nicole’s – Offering both brunch and dinner with specials created to spoil Mom.  Brunch is 10 am – 2 pm. Country Frittata with Eggs, Sautéed Peppers and Onions with Cheese and Potatoes, Crab Cake Benedict, and Salmon Hash are just some of the amazing entrees diners can choose.  And why not indulge in one of several specialty Bloody Marys?  Enjoy the Spicy Mary with a black pepper salted rim and bacon skewer or the Shanghai Mary which has fresh ginger, wasabi, sesame, cilantro and shrimp.  Dinner starts at 4-pm with specials including Roast Duck, Rack of Lamb, and a Double Cut Pork Chop. Morey’s Piers – Morey’s Piers is honoring Mother’s Day with tea for two…or three…or four…or more, inviting moms to celebrate their special day with an unforgettable tea party for the whole family at the beloved Tea Cups ride. Mothers visiting will ride free from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Mariner’s and Surfside Piers. From 12:00pm to 2:00pm, families are invited to an unforgettable tea party at the beloved Tea Cups ride on Mariner’s Pier.  Mom and company can grab a seat in an oversized “English tea cup” and sip complimentary afternoon tea with an assortment of cookies, biscottis, and biscuits. Kids can also decorate personalized sugar cookies for mom at the cookie decorating station located next to the Tea Cup ride. A photo area complete with signs and props for Mom and the entire family to take pictures will be located at the Parents Pavilion on Mariner’s Pier.

Morey’s Piers / Joe’s Fish Co. on Surfside Pier is serving up a new Mother’s Day brunch from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday, May 8. Menu highlights include crab benedict, avocado toast, spinach and fontina quiche, shrimp and grits, as well as Bloody Marys and Mimosas to toast to mom.

North End American Grill in North Wildwood is serving up brunch from 10 am -2 pm and dinner starting at 4. Enjoy a Lobster Omelette with fresh lobster, baby spinach, pepper jack cheese and bacon, French Toast Casserole – slow cooked French toast casserole topped with a bananas foster walnut sauce, or go for a healthier option like the fruit and granola bowl.  Guests can create their own drink at the new Bottomless Bloody Mary Buffet Bar or enjoy one of their signatures like the North End Mary – vodka, clamato, horseradish, Worcestershire, salt and pepper, with a shrimp garnish or enjoy a bottomless Mimosa!  Dinner is the regular menu which includes Prime Rib, Grilled Salmon, Crab Cakes and Half Roasted Chicken plus yummy desserts sure to put a smile on your special woman’s face.
