During the downtime in Cape May due to COVID-19, the owners of the Victorian Commons, including the Acme Market, had the entire parking lot resurfaced. The work took place over three days including paint and new entrance finishing. The Acme remained open to serve the community throughout the resurfacing and repairs.
The new Pier House Restaurant is unofficially open. The Andy family hosted an invitation-only celebration last night for scores of Cape May locals and a few special guests who joined in the preview opening. Opening at noon on Friday, May 11th, the Garden Club of Cape May presented “Victorian Poetry in Bloom” the theme of their annual flower show at Convention Hall. Attendees to the show were treated to four presentations by experts in flower judging, gardening design,Victorian literature and Victorian attire.
