As the nominees for this year’s Oscars were named in Hollywood, Cape May county residents get a chance to weigh in on their favorites—whether they’re on the ballot or not! The Cape May Film Society, host of the award-winning Cape May Film Festival, will host its annual Pre-Oscar Party on Sunday, February 26, beginning at 5:30 p.m. at Mad Batter in Cape May. During the free event, which will include an Oscar-worthy buffet and cash bar, the Film Society will take your ballot (with a suggested donation to our ongoing work) for who you believe should win for best picture.
