Hi that’s my fiance and me in the picture! Thank you so much to Matt Long the master sandcastle builder, Scott Prince our photographer, Bonnie from The John Wesley Inn, and CapeMay.com. Without all of you this would never have been possible. And yes, I am a lucky girl!!!
Marissa & Andy:
Riss from the day you were born you were my special princess & now you are all grown up & starting your own life. We are so happy for you & Andy — and when life throws you a curve, remember this magical day & the love you have for each other & it will get you through anything.
We love you both & wish you a lifetime filled with happiness & love. God Bless you both.
Congratulations to the both of you! I could not imagine a more perfect proposal for Marissa, the queen of all things whimsical. If you direct all of that romanticism and creativity into your marriage, it will be the most enviable in all the land. Here’s to your happily ever after!
Congrats to the both of you- what an amazing way to propose!
I happened to be staying at the John Wesley Inn the next night after this happened and there was still a buzz in the house! Bonnie told me the story and it absolutely blew me away. Just as romantic as Andy must be, Marissa, you must be equally romantic to appreciate such a grand gesture.
No doubt, the two of you have a wonderful life ahead! Now, maybe you can take the next step and get married in Cape May- there’s no better place on Earth to do it!
Congratulations Marissa & Andy!
All the girls at Sequence are so happy for the both of you…your a luck man andy lol….wishing you nothing but a lifetime full of happiness and love<3
Riss and Andy,
Congratulations!! May you have all the happiness and love anyone could ever ask for! Andy thank you for making my best friend so incredibly happy, you two are meant for eachother!!! And Riss I think it’s time to take down that license plate holder… because you’ve found your prince charming!!! Love and God Bless you both.
Your Dearest Friend,
Jacqui

I happened to walk by this stunning sand castle Saturday as it was constructed. Just a beautiful way to propose. I hope your marriage will have all the magic of such an amazing castle in the sand!!!
Congratulations to the happy couple. Hope they plan a “beach wedding” and share their pictures with everyone. My husband and I visited Cape May in August and hired photographer Mary Pat Meyers of Cape May to take our picture at Cape May Point in recognition of our 40th wedding anniversary. What a lovely beach!
I’ve come back to look at this picture a few dozen times, LOL! How amazingly romantic. Don’t know if Marissa will ever read this but would love to hear about wedding plans. A beach wedding, maybe? Please don’t think I’m weird– I’m a new bride myself (check out my Website!) and I actually miss planning the wedding! All that work but I miss it! Imagine…
Well, best of luck and God’s greatest blessings to you. Love is a wonderful thing. :-)
