Live maple tapping demonstration

Do you have maple trees on your property? Ever wanted to make your own maple syrup? Want some help? Join Stockton University researchers as they conduct a maple tapping demonstration. We will also be showing you some of the research that we are doing to explore the science behind sap production!

If you live in southern New Jersey and have maples on your property, we REALLY hope you join the show! We are looking for landowners who have 5 or more acres of forested property with some maple trees. In exchange for allowing us to take some soil samples and tree measurements, we will give you tapping equipment to get you started! You can even keep the syrup!
