Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients

cups
cake flour
1½
cups
bread flour
1½-2
cups
buttermilk
Pinch
salt and sugar

tablespoon
baking powder
2
teaspoons
baking soda
1½
sticks butter
Instructions
In bowl, sift dry ingredients.
Cut in butter until size of peas.
Mix in buttermilk until dough comes together in shaggy mass.
Turn onto floured board. Form together.
Cut biscuits (I use an old soup can).
Brush tops lightly with melted butter or milk.
Bake at 425 degrees for 12 minutes.
