Bike Paths

Bikes are a perfect way to explore Cape May, but if you’d prefer not to ride on the street, here are some alternatives. If you didn’t bring yours with you, you can rent a bicycle by the day or for the length of your stay.

Cape May Historic District

Cape May’s historic district was designated a National Historic Landmark on May 11, 1976, and is a showcase of late-Victorian-era architecture.

Cape May’s promenade runs parallel to Beach Avenue and stretches for nearly two miles, taking you on a scenic walk or run past Cape May’s beaches.

Cold Spring and Middle Township Bike Paths

Combined, Cold Spring Bike Path (2.7 miles) and Middle Township Bike Path (8.9 miles) will take you from Historic Cold Spring Village all the way to the Cape May County Park and Zoo.
