"Black, Blue & True: To the Tune of Inspiration" Exhibit
Location: Emlen Physick Estate
This Carriage House Gallery exhibit features photos of Cape May County African American Jazz & Blues musicians and the nationally renowned artists who inspired them.  The Gallery is at the Emlen
Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St. Gallery is open Saturdays and Sundays, beginning on Saturday, Jan. 16 plus Monday, Jan. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.  It is open daily starting March 26.  Admission $2 for adults, $1 for children (ages 3-12), or free with any tour of the Physick Estate. Free exhibit opening on Monday, Jan. 18 at 4 p.m.  Co-sponsored by the Center for Community Arts and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts and Humanities (MAC).  For more information, call 609-884-5404 or 800-275-4278

3rd Annual Health and Wellness Fair
Location: Cape May Elementary
Come out on March 11th for the 3rd annual Health and
Wellness Fair. The Cape May City Elementary School in association with the
T.A.S.K Focus Group will be holding this event in the Cape May City
Elementary School's gymnasium. Take advantage of the screenings for high
blood pressure, diabetes and even high cholesterol. This free health fair is
open to the public and will take place from 3:30 pm until 6:00 pm. A Red
Cross blood drive will be held from 2 pm until 7 pm, also. There will be
exhibits and demonstrations by health & wellness organizations of South
Jersey. Come and bring your family to learn about living healthy.

Looking Glass Mysteries

The Cape May Detective Agency and the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts present Looking Glass Mysteries.

Join the mystery weekend where poision, blackmail, and bribery are part of the game...and where the killers actually hunt the guests! These little adventures are designed by Shadow Stalkers and they've had 13 guests murdered in a single night!

Sound like fun?

It is... if you survive!

The Carroll Villa Hotel will be our Mystery Head Quarters, with the Bedford Inn, Bacchus Inn, and John Wesley Inn also fielding teams of detectives.

Mommy and Me
Location: Cape May Nature Center
Spring is just around the corner, and the Nature Center of Cape May’s popular
“Mommy and Me” toddler program is back. The spring session begins March 5 at the
nature center’s campus near the Coast Guard base in Cape May.

“Mommy and Me” is a weekly, eight-session program that takes place each Friday
morning through April 30, (no class April 9) from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

The program is for children between the ages of two and four years along with
their favorite adult. NCCM Senior Naturalist Kim Hannum teaches the classes,
which are a combination of stories, songs, self-guided play, crafts, and outdoor
walks. Snacks will be provided. The fee is $70.00 for the eight-week session,
discounted to $50.00 for New Jersey Audubon Society members. Space is limited,
and preregistration is strongly suggested. Adult participation is required.

The nature center is located at 1600 Delaware Avenue in Cape May.

Ghosts of Cape May Trolley Tour
Sponsored by: Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts
A 30-minute ride through the streets of Cape May with a guide who will relate the paranormal findings of Ghost Writer Craig McManus at various properties along the way.

Begins at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth. $10 for adults, $7 for children (ages 3-12). Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC).

Wheelchair accessible trolley tours are offered, subject to availability.

Second Sunday
The Artists Cooperative Gallery of Cape May will host "Second Sunday" on March 14th from 1 to 2:30 pm at its home in the West End Garage, 484 West Perry Street, Cape May.  "Second Sunday" featured local artists will be painter Patrica Neville , jeweler Cindy Mahoney Crawford and photographer Christine Peck .   "We are so fortunate to have such wonderfully talented artists join the Artists' Cooperative Gallery.  "Second Sundays" will continue throughout the year so the community can enjoy meeting all of our artists and learn about their work," explains Diana Cutshall, manager of the gallery.  Featured artists as well as other artists from the Artists' Cooperative Gallery will be on hand to meet the public and discuss their work.  Light refreshments will be served.
