- Things to Do
Written & Performed by Candace O'Donnell
Candance O'Donnell's favorite role was in "Driving Miss Driving", but over the past few years has specialized in one-man shows, meticulously researched historic monologues. She was last seen in Cape May as "Mary Todd Lincoln" This show is interactive as the audience will have a chance to "get into the act" three times.
Candance O'Donnell plays "the world's greatest actress," Sarah Bernhardt, who had quite a life, both tragic and triumphant in this one night only performance. Sarah Bernhardt survived the siege of Paris, an amputation, vicious anti-Semitism, and many tempestuous love affairs to become the toast of Europe and indeed the world. In 1921 she wowed audiences at the Fulton Opera House in her iconic role, "Camille," entering down the center aisle on one leg.
