Wine Tasting for CCA at Whalers’ Cottages

An elegant evening was held at the 18th-19th century Whalers’ Cottages on Batts Lane for the Center for Community Arts. Hosts  Chris and Dave Clemans held a wine tasting event featuring Argentine wines paired with grilled meats and fresh local seafood which was catered by the Washington Inn.

Beach Ball at the Beach Club

Cape May Stage held its summer fundraiser Saturday, June 19 at the Beach Club. The Sensations played classic summer beach tunes and guests shook, shimmied and danced the night away.

St. Mary’s 100th Anniversary

St. Mary-by-the-Sea celebrated its 100th anniversary at Cape May Point the weekend of June 4-6.. Flag Day

In 1885 a schoolteacher,  BJ Cigrand, of Fredonia, Wisconsin Public School, District 6, first originated the idea of celebrating the flag on June 14 – the 108th anniversary of the official adoption of The Stars and Stripes.
