
West Cape May Lima Bean Festival
The Borough of West Cape May celebrates her farming heritage with the Annual Lima Bean Festival in the Borough’s Backyard Park (732 Broadway, behind the Fire House) on Saturday, October 11, 2025 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
West Cape May was once the lima bean capital of the world, and this autumn, the tradition of celebrating the lima bean harvest continues with the much-loved, quirky community event. Locals and visitors alike are sure to delight in the vast array of vendors including food, handmade arts/crafts, apparel and more! The festival will have live music performed by Nolan Quinn and will feature a 45-minute magic act from The Great Loudini, starting at 12Noon.
Out of town visitors/attendees are encouraged to utilize the free parking along the Borough’s side streets and use the free Jitney service that is being provided by the Borough’s festival. Jitney Services will be provided from 9am to 4pm and will have pick up/drop off locations at the festival venue, Wilbraham Park, and on Park Boulevard and will pick up any pedestrians they see walking to the event along Broadway and Park Boulevard. Be sure to stop by and enjoy all the event has to offer.
