CapeMay.com’s digital publication High Tide covers local business changes, historic preservation, restaurant reviews, art and entertainment, local recipes, and major weather events. We also publish photo essays and the occasional opinion piece.
We began publishing in 1998, and produced the monthly online magazine This is Cape May from 2005 through 2009, when we spun it into our print sister Cape May Magazine.
We post content when we have something to share with you, not on a standing schedule. If you subscribe to RSS feeds, here’s a link to ours!

FAQs
Will you publish my article or poem?
Our blog content is created in-house by our Cape May team! We aren’t publishing outside submissions at this time.
I’ve written a book set in Cape May and would love to be featured in the Author Q&A!
We’d love to hear about your book and possibly interview you! Here’s what to know
- At this time, we interview fiction authors. All genres are okay! We’ll consider poetry collections, although our resident poetry enthusiast is a tad busy.
- Your book must be entirely human made, without the use of generative AI (in the brainstorming, writing, or editing phases). This includes your cover art and any audiobook editions.
- We’ll need a copy! This can be physical, digital, or an ARC if you haven’t published yet.
- Please give us a head’s up about any sensitive content we might encounter.
- Our questions will be Cape May centric.
If that sounds okay, please email hightide@capemay.com with your book’s information. If we decide to cover it, we’ll request a copy.
I’ve created a film / short video about Cape May. Will you feature it?
Possibly! It depends on the content and purpose. Please email hightide@capemay.com with information about the video.
In the past, we’ve covered things like indie films being shot in Cape May and music videos. We’re interested in how Cape May inspires you, not in promoting your business. So we aren’t likely to accept pretty drone footage to promote your photography studio.
What is your affiliate link policy? Will you run my sponsored post or linkback request?
Our posts do not include affiliate links, and we do not accept compensation in exchange for coverage. If we receive anything free while on-site, we disclose it.
We will not run sponsored posts or edit past posts to link to paid products.
