Ribbon Cutting at the Harriet Tubman Museum

Yesterday was the official ribbon cutting and tour of the Harriet Tubman Museum in celebration of Emancipation Day. Governor Phil Murphy was present for the ceremony.

Tubman worked in Cape May during the 1850s, earning money so she could bring people to freedom. The Harriet Tubman Museum of Cape May is located at 632 Lafayette Street. You can donate at on their website or through the museum’s Facebook page.
