The Mt. Vernon hotel closed out their final season in October 2021. In March of this year, they announced on Facebook that they would not be reopening and held a contents sale. The motel has since been demolished and the lot is for sale as either a commercial or two residential lots.
Exciting news from North Cape May: The team at Exit Zero Hospitality is overhauling the Cape May-Lewes Ferry terminal to create Ferry Park, a collection of waterfront experiences set to open this spring. Wonderful news! Chez Michel has opened for the season. You’ll find the bakery at the same location, but a bit bigger than you may remember.
